Building Financial Futures Together
Since 2018, we've helped professionals master capital budgeting through practical education that connects classroom theory with real-world financial decisions.
Our Foundation Story
We started imgivelinked because too many bright professionals were struggling with capital budgeting decisions despite having strong educational backgrounds. The gap between academic theory and practical application was creating real challenges in Canadian businesses.
After working with hundreds of companies between 2018 and 2024, we realized that most financial education programs miss the nuanced decision-making processes that separate good capital allocation from great capital allocation.
"We focus on the thinking patterns and analytical frameworks that experienced financial professionals use daily – not just the formulas everyone already knows."

What Drives Our Work
These principles shape every program we create and every client relationship we build.
Practical Relevance
Every concept we teach connects directly to decisions professionals make in their current roles. No theoretical exercises without clear workplace applications.
Individual Progress
We adapt our teaching approach based on each person's experience level and learning style. Some need more technical depth, others benefit from case study discussions.
Long-term Support
Learning doesn't stop when formal programs end. We maintain connections with our participants and provide ongoing guidance as their careers develop.
How This Shows Up
Last month, Priya from our September 2024 cohort called with questions about evaluating automation investments at her manufacturing company. This wasn't covered in her original program, but it builds on the NPV frameworks she learned with us. We spent 45 minutes walking through her specific situation – that's just normal for us.

The People Behind the Programs
Our team combines deep financial expertise with genuine enthusiasm for helping others develop their analytical capabilities.

Marcus Thornfield
Lead Financial Strategist
Marcus spent twelve years in corporate finance at mid-sized Canadian manufacturers before joining us in 2019. He's particularly good at helping people understand how different discount rate assumptions affect project rankings – something that trips up even experienced analysts.

Bennett Rhodes
Senior Capital Planning Consultant
Bennett brings fifteen years of investment banking experience to our programs. His specialty is teaching scenario analysis and sensitivity testing – crucial skills that many professionals learn through trial and error rather than systematic training.
Our Teaching Philosophy
We believe financial education works best when it starts with real problems that participants recognize from their own experience. Then we build toward the analytical tools and frameworks that address those specific challenges.
This means our programs often feel more like consulting engagements than traditional training sessions. People bring actual projects they're working on, and we help them think through the capital budgeting implications.
We measure success by the quality of financial decisions our participants make months after their programs end, not by test scores or completion rates.

Our Commitment to Participants
When you work with imgivelinked, you're investing in more than just financial education. You're joining a community of professionals who take capital allocation seriously.
Relevant, Current Content
We update our program materials quarterly based on new regulatory changes and evolving best practices in Canadian business. What you learn reflects how capital budgeting actually works in 2025, not outdated textbook examples.
Small Group Learning
Our programs never exceed 12 participants. This allows for meaningful discussion of individual challenges and ensures everyone gets personalized attention during complex case study work.
Industry-Specific Applications
We adapt our teaching examples based on the industries represented in each cohort. Manufacturing professionals get equipment replacement scenarios, while service companies work through technology investment cases.
Ongoing Professional Connection
Most participants maintain contact with us for years after their initial program. We host quarterly virtual sessions where alumni can discuss current projects and share insights with newer cohorts.
